Glossy Boss Bookstore’s Purpose

The Glossy Boss Bookstore was created from a simple belief: the right words, placed in the right hands, can help change a life.

What began as my journey of writing and teaching has grown into a collection of books, devotionals, workbooks, journals, and educational resources designed to do more than sit on a shelf. These are tools for growth.

Throughout my life, I have learned in many different classrooms—the beauty industry, education, entrepreneurship, ministry, motherhood, leadership, grief, healing, and simply learning how to become the woman God created me to be. Each season has taught me something worth sharing.

That is the heart behind the Glossy Boss Bookstore.

Here you will find resources created to help you build your faith, strengthen your confidence, develop your gifts, grow your business, educate yourself, heal from life's transitions, and walk more intentionally in your purpose.

Some books will meet you in the classroom. Some will meet you in business. Some will meet you during your quiet time with God. And some may meet you in a season when you simply need to be reminded of your worth.

The bookstore is also growing beyond my own titles. My vision is to create a space where knowledge, faith, healing, creativity, education, and purpose come together—with resources for women, beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, youth, children, and families.

Because being a Glossy Boss isn't simply about looking polished.

It's about becoming equipped.

It's about continuing to learn.

It's about having the courage to create.

It's about healing enough to move forward.

And it's about using what God has placed in your hands to make an impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We provide professional beauty education, business mentorship, and hands‑on training for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to build profitable beauty brands and service‑based businesses. Through my company, Glossy Diva Cosmetics & Supplies, LLC, I offer:

    • Makeup & Skincare Classes (one‑on‑one and group)

    • The Lady Spa Day Experience

    • Beauty Business Workshops including Launch Your Lip Line

    • Small Business Startup Classes

    • Mentorship for new beauty entrepreneurs

    • Workbooks, guides, and educational materials created from my 28+ years in the industry

Every service is designed to empower women to build with confidence, clarity, and excellence.

  • I started my journey over 28 years ago as a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist, working behind the chair and behind the scenes. Over time, I became a cosmetology educator, teaching students how to master their craft and build their careers.

As I grew in ministry and business, women began coming to me for guidance, clarity, and direction — not just about beauty, but about purpose and entrepreneurship. That’s when I realized my calling was bigger than services. It was education, empowerment, and mentorship.

From that passion, I created Glossy Diva Cosmetics, my own vegan, handmade skincare and makeup line, and began teaching others how to build their own brands. My workshops, books, and classes were born from real experience, real results, and a real desire to see women win.

  • My classes are different because they are not just about makeup — they are about transformation.

Most classes teach technique. Most business workshops teach information.

I teach strategy, confidence, purpose, and execution.

    What sets me apart:

    • 28 years of hands‑on beauty industry experience

    • 19 years as a licensed educator

    • 22 years as a professional makeup artist

    • A ministry foundation that brings compassion, clarity, and empowerment

    • Real business ownership experience — not theory

    • Workbooks and curriculum I personally wrote and designed

    • Mentorship that continues beyond the class

Students don’t just learn how to do something — they learn why, when, and how to turn it into income.

  • Being mentored by me is supportive, structured, honest, and empowering.

    My mentoring style is:

    • Direct but loving — I tell you the truth, not what you want to hear

    • Strategic — I help you build step‑by‑step so you don’t waste time or money

    • Spirit‑led — I guide with wisdom, discernment, and encouragement

    • Hands‑on — I walk with you through decisions, branding, planning, and launching

    • Accountable — I help you stay focused and consistent

    • Personalized — I tailor the guidance to YOUR business, not a one‑size‑fits‑all formula

My mentees often say they feel:

    • Seen

    • Supported

    • Challenged

    • Equipped

    • Confident

    • Ready

Because my goal is not just to teach you — it’s to prepare you to succeed.
