Sharla D. Weaver is a 27 years Veteran Hairdresser, Makeup Artist, and Educator.

Beginning her career in her mother's kitchen doing her Godmother's children hair.

Sharla attended Virginia School of Hair in Hampton, Virginia in 1996. Graduated 13 months later, challenged the state board examine system to get her Cosmetology Educator license in 1997. She became apart of teaching team at her alma for 3 years and additional 2 years in 2004 and 2005.

Sharla has taught for over a 19 years in Virginia, North Carolina, and Connecticut.

She worked 9 years for Haircuttery in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Connecticut. As a stylist, educator/trainer, and salon manager. Specializing in ethnic and multiracial chemical products styling (Mizani & AroSci products). Styling diversity.

In 1999, she moved to North Carolina to teach at Carolina Beauty Schools and Dudley's University were she added Makeup Artistry to the list of gifts in the beauty business. Developing her training with companies: TEMTPU, Dudley's, Makeup Forever and advice from Emmy award winning makeup artist, Kevin James Bennett. She began to do hair & makeup for local artist, theater and fashion shows.

In 2005, she returned back home to Connecticut, continue her career with Haircuttery. 2016, she joined the Great Clips Salon in Windsor, CT.

In 2018, she decided to branch out and develop Glossy Diva. After some planning she was inspired to start her products from skincare to makeup....her creativity shows her love for quality products.

  • Ordained Elder In the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church

  • Early Education in the Waterbury, CT School System

  • Associates Degree In Fashion Merchandising from Post University

  • Bachelors & Masters Degree In Fashion Merchandising & Textiles from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)
